Synchrony Rehab is seeking a seasoned Senior Living Outpatient Therapy Leader who meets the following qualifications:
Minimum of three years of experience managing regional, multi-state therapy operations in senior living settings.
Demonstrated success in hiring, leading, coaching, and mentoring effective teams.
Prior experience with substantial P&L management responsibilities.
Strong business acumen and expertise in clinical program development, staffing, budget oversight, and strategic planning within senior living services.
Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with a history of driving operational excellence and achieving results across multi-site and multi-state operations.
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the regional level, engaging with Executive Directors and Health/Wellness Service Directors.
In-depth knowledge of billing practices and compliance in outpatient and Medicare B services.
The Area Manager is the regional senior leader, supporting the operations of multiple practices throughout a region. The incumbent plans, directs, coordinates and supervises all program activities in the region to ensure that company and customer goals are met. The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribute to company-wide program development, quality improvement, problem solving, productivity enhancement and profitability in a cross departmental and interdisciplinary environment."Experienced Senior Living Outpatient Therapy Leader with Proven Success in Program Implementation, Team Development, and Operational Excellence"
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operational and clinical success for each designated practice.
• Interviews, hires, orients, and supervises Program Directors through mentoring, problem-solving, and brainstorming to meet operational goals.
• Maintains consistent communication with and reports to Regional Director Operations/Vice President of Operations.
• Travels as needed, including visiting all assigned facilities routinely based on need, with availability to Program Directors on an ongoing basis.
• Meets with Administrator, and other key facility leadership during visits, in conjunction with the Program Director, and is available on an ongoing basis.
• Develops and fosters positive relationships with customers to ensure optimal business satisfaction.
• During facility visits, focuses on assuring all patient needs are being met, treatment is welldocumented, and the practice operates efficiently.
• Functions as a resource for program/caseload/business development.
• Assures effective and efficient coordination of staff among facilities where possible.
• Helps identify growth opportunities in area in conjunction with Regional Director of Account Management.
• Participates in clinical and operational reviews including denial process.
• Participates in all senior management functions to assure company business success.
• Works with Vice President of Operations to develop regional operating and capital budget.
• Ensures adherence to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations.
• Facilitates delivery of in-services or other educational and developmental programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in regional, multi-state senior living therapy operations
Licenses and Certifications:
Must hold applicable valid and unencumbered state license.
Current CPR Certification for healthcare providers through CPR training that includes hands on practice and in-person skills assessment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
